Vision's S7100 Suspension Elliptical is a favorite of anyone looking for great cardiovascular conditioning, impact-free exercise and tremendous calorie burning. When Vision says PerfectStride, they mean it, with a fluid elliptical path and 2-inch pedal spacing that's great for your hips and knees, pivoting footplates, a variable stride length and an incline that adjusts from 18 to 37 percent for plenty of exercise variety. A low incline level simulates walking or jogging, while a maximum incline replicates a stair climb. Choose between the Deluxe and Premiere consoles for an electronics package that best suits your needs.

The powerful Sprint 8 workout program has been medically proven to boost energy, reduce body fat and promote lean muscle mass through a natural release of exercise-induced growth hormone. And best of all, it's only 20 minutes long!

Vision's PerfectStride technology combines a fluid elliptical footpath, pivoting footplates, 2-inch pedal spacing, adjustable incline and variable stride length for an ideal motion that's easy on your joints and keeps you coming back for more.

The rubberized, moving handgrips boast multiple positions to comfortably fit any user, allow you to switch up the muscular emphasis and vary the workout. Featuring contact heart-rate sensors for important exercise feedback, the stationary handles also let you focus on your lower body and stabilize yourself while making console adjustments or grabbing your water bottle.

Fitness equipment typically offers heart-rate measurement, which is great for efficient weight loss, improving fitness for your favorite sport, exercising safely, and bettering your general cardiovascular health. Heart rate is monitored by contact and/or wireless telemetry. While the latter is considered more accurate, each system has advantages. Here’s a quick primer.

Contact heart-rate monitoring utilizes hand sensors in the handrail or handlebar. You grip the sensors for several seconds and your heart rate is shown on the console display in beats per minute. Contact heart rate is a good choice if you don’t have or don’t like to wear a heart-rate chest strap.

Wireless telemetry heart-rate monitoring utilizes a chest strap that you wear that reads your heart rate and transmits a radio frequency to show your heart rate on the machine’s console display. In addition to being more accurate, the wireless system is hands-free, and it allows your heart rate to be constantly displayed (since it doesn’t rely on sensors that you have to hold). This constant monitoring is especially useful for heart-rate control programs, in which the exercise equipment makes intensity adjustments to maintain or vary your heart rate at particular training zones.
